Analytics FC are delighted to announce that Aston Villa Women FC are the latest side to sign up to use their TransferLab data-scouting platform. TransferLab was developed in collaboration with LCP, and uses advanced data and cutting edge algorithms to provide an unparalleled online environment for scouting players. Nine new women’s competitions were recently added, making the platform even more comprehensive.
Aston Villa have established themselves as a top tier side since gaining promotion to the Women’s Super League at the end of the 2019/20 season, having won the Championship.
Under Head Coach Carla Ward, Villa have continued to develop and this summer have six players at the FIFA Women’s World Cup: England’s Rachel Daly and Jordan Nobbs, France’s Kenza Dali, Switzerland’s Alisha Lehmann, the Netherlands’ Daphne van Domselaar, and co-host New Zealand’s Anna Leat.
Aston Villa Women’s GM Marisa Ewers, a former club captain, said, “We are very pleased to be working with Analytics FC and to be able to access the TransferLab platform. We know that Analytics FC has a particular history and experience of delivering quality data in the women’s game, and we feel this adds real credibility to their offering. In an increasingly competitive game, we need to look for every available edge – integrating high quality data into our processes will give that edge.”
Analytics FC CEO Jeremy Steele added, “It’s really great for us to add another top level team to the list of clients we work with across the women’s game. When we introduced TransferLab as the first standalone Women’s football data analytics platform, we were confident there would be an appetite for advanced data tools. We’re delighted to start working with Aston Villa and bringing are algorithms into their workflows.”
