Analytics FC are delighted to announce our partnership with Cavalry FC in the Canadian Premier League, expanding our growing network of clubs in North America. Cavalry’s agreement with Analytics FC will see the club access our TransferLab and Emerge data-scouting platforms, developed in collaboration with LCP.
Under the direction of Head Coach and GM Tommy Wheeldon and Assistant GM Tofa Fakunle, the Calgary-based club is expanding its focus on using cutting-edge data and technology to add value to their scouting and player assessment processes.
Cavalry FC is one of eight teams in the CPL, which was formed in 2019. The club were Champions last year and are also twice CPL Shield winners.
Fakunle stressed the importance of data-driven insights for achieving long-term objectives. “The Canadian Premier League presents unique challenges and opportunities within its roster-building framework, and using data intelligently needs to be a key element of the club’s strategy. I was really impressed by the quality and breadth of Analytics FC’s coverage, which is a key element of finding the right talent for us. The TransferLab Emerge platform also will be a crucial tool for the club, allowing us to apply the same level of data scouting to find young players all over the world. I am excited by the insights that the platform could provide, which will deepen our player pool,” said Fakunle.
