Analytics FC is pleased to announce a leadership evolution that supports the company’s continued growth and strategic focus. Alex Stewart, who joined the company in 2022 as Head of Content and later moved to a role as Chief Operating Officer, will step into a broader leadership role as CEO, effective immediately.
Jeremy Steele, who co-founded Analytics FC in 2016, will transition to the company’s advisory board, joining senior partner Pavel Gognidze and special advisor Michele Rinchiuso. The board will focus on supporting the company’s long-term strategic goals.
Alex brings a deep understanding of the football communications and consultancy space, having previously co-founded Tifo Football—the acclaimed YouTube channel acquired by The Athletic and later The New York Times. Since joining Analytics FC, he has played a central role in shaping major projects such as Coach ID and Signature, becoming a key figure in the company’s success and growth and has quickly established himself as a leader in the sports consultancy space.
Jeremy Steele, co-founder of Analytics FC, said, “I’m very pleased to see Alex step into this new role. His appointment as CEO is a decision that Pavel and I were fully aligned on. From day one, Alex has brought energy, clarity, and strategic thinking to the business. He’s been instrumental in our recent progress, and we’re confident he’s the right person to lead the next phase of the company’s journey.”
Alex Stewart added, “I’ve really enjoyed being part of the journey at Analytics FC and I’m excited to take on this new role. I’ve learned a huge amount from Jeremy, who’s been the best possible mentor, and I’m looking forward to building on the progress we’ve made. We’re committed to cementing Analytics FC’s position as market leaders in football strategy, data and technology.”
