Analytics FC is very excited to announce a close collaboration with FC Viktoria Berlin of the 2. Frauen Bundesliga.
FC Viktoria Berlin is unique in German women’s football: in 2022 a group of six investors, Ariane Hingst, Felicia Mutterer, Katharina Kurz, Lisa Währer, Tanja Wielgoß, and Verena Pausder took over the women’s first team of Berlin-based club FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin and spun it off as an independent legal entity.
The female-first founder group has since been joined by many other investors and Viktoria Berlin achieved promotion to the second tier of German women’s football in May 2025.
The club’s vision is to empower women through sporting success, with the ultimate goal being promotion to the Bundesliga, while fostering a strong sense of an inclusive community and a culture of innovation.
Working closely with Analytics FC, Viktoria Berlin will be able to access cutting-edge data tools and technology for their workflows, facilitating the ownership’s vision of innovation and sporting excellence.
Alex Stewart, CEO of Analytics FC, said: “We are really pleased to be working with FC Viktoria Berlin. We believe strongly that there exists a great opportunity to use data analytics even more effectively in women’s football, and it was exciting to hear how FC Viktoria Berlin are incorporating this into their vision for changing how the game operates.
We launched the first data analytics platform in the world dedicated to Women’s football back in 2021 with TransferLab, so partnering with another women’s football disruptor is very exciting.”
Miren ?atovi?, head coach of FC Viktoria Berlin, added: “The collaboration with Analytics FC offers us a valuable opportunity to verify subjective impressions from video analysis using objectively comparable data. This makes our analysis not only more detailed but also more holistic. This form of data-driven evaluation represents an important step in the further professionalization of FC Viktoria Berlin.
At the same time, we can contribute our experience from daily practice and thus actively advance data-driven development in women’s football together with Analytics FC.”
