Analytics FC are today announcing an exciting partnership with leading Allsvenskan team AIK Fotboll. The partnership will see Analytics FC support AIK with the development of a unique and exclusive concept, the AIK Innovation Hub.
The Innovation Hub will provide the sports management and performance staff at the club’s Karlberg Training Centre with a wide range of cutting edge data, platforms, and tools to support their work, both on and off the pitch. The project will be overseen by Analytics FC’s co-founder Jeremy Steele, working closely with Head Coach Mikkjal Thomassen and Head of Scouting and Recruitment Fredrik Wisur Hansen.
AIK are a major force in Swedish football, with a rich history dating back to 1891 and have won 12 national championships. They play at the 54,000-capacity Strawberry Arena and regularly attract the highest attendances in Allsvenskan, averaging nearly 29,000 fans per game in 2024.
The AIK Innovation Hub, powered by Analytics FC, draws on over a decade of football data consultancy experience. With Jeremy Steele’s background in senior club roles—ranging from Head of Academy to Sporting Director—Analytics FC uniquely combines cutting-edge technology with real-world football strategy.
AIK Fotboll’s CEO and Managing Director, Fredrik Söderberg, said, “I strongly believe in the direction AIK Fotboll is taking through the leadership and partnership of these three individuals. We’ve come a long way in a short period of time, but to keep progressing we need to combine recruitment and scouting, strategy, and leadership.”
Fredrik Wisur Hansen added, “There is tremendous potential both in our squad and in the club overall, and I look forward to unlocking that potential together.”
Jeremy Steele said, “I’m excited to be working on and implementing the overarching sporting strategy. I’ve previously worked with strategic development at several clubs, and with Analytics FC as the foundation, I believe the potential at AIK Fotboll is enormous.”
