Analytics FC are delighted to announce the launch of TransferLab Emerge, a groundbreaking new data scouting platform that unlocks the best young footballing talent in the world.
Finding the best young footballers has never been more important, with clubs seeking to develop strong playing trading models and the market shift towards buying pre-peak talent.
So, we have created TransferLab Emerge. The platform harnesses our market-leading Goal Difference Added algorithm to bring you the best Under 21 footballers in the world. The cutting-edge platform, brings you 33 new youth leagues, 568 youth teams, and some 15,000 new players (there’s a full list of leagues below). It also incorporates the 18,000+ players aged 21 and under playing senior football across 150 competitions globally.
TransferLab Emerge works with our existing team strength model, so all players across all levels are adjusted by team strength and age group. As players progress, and are called up to older, stronger teams, their scores adjust automatically. With so much overlap between youth and first team football, and with some ‘youth’ leagues being considered as senior leagues, it was important to scale player data accurately.
All the features and functions from our senior TransferLab platform remain accessible in our Emerge platform – best XIs, age curves, compare players or find similar players, all powered by our Goal Difference Added algorithm. Our GDA-powered model produces a host of predictive metrics, adding depth and colour to the basic stats generally used within the football industry.
TransferLab Emereg is packed with features. We’ve turned complex data into easy to understand metrics, putting powerful insights straight into the hands of football staff – no need for in-house data experts.
Profile scores
TransferLab provides a ‘quality’ rating for each and every player on the platform, based on their performance in matches during a specified period. The ratings are based on our market leading and highly predictive Goal Difference Added (GDA) algorithm.
Custom metrics
Users can also rank players against their own specified skill set so each club can scout for players who suit their own style of play. Choosing from a large range of metrics allows users to build bespoke profiles and gauge players more accurately.
ClubStrength+
Our ClubStrength+ model is a statistically-derived ‘exchange rate’ rate based on club strength, which provides directly comparable ratings for players in clubs and leagues of differing strengths, both for senior and youth football. And, our model features dynamic player scoring that adjusts automatically as players progress to strong teams or higher levels, meaning you get the most accurate and up-to-date reflection of their ability.
Age curves
In addition, our age curve model projects how a player’s quality will change over their future career, offering future projections based on statistical analysis of how specific skill sets improve or decline with time.
