Analytics FC are proud to announce FC Bayern’s Women’s Team are the newest client to sign up to our flagship data-scouting platform, TransferLab.
Under new Head Coach, Alexander Straus, Bayern Munich are looking to take back the the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga title won by VfL Wolfsburg last season. In the 2020/21 season, FC Bayern ended their rival’s run of four consecutive Bundesliga titles. FCB will again be fighting for the league title this season and also looking to better their run to the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League, finally being stopped by French club Paris Saint-Germain.
By signing up for Analytics FC’s TransferLab platform, Bayern will harness the power of our algorithms in the hopes of continuing their resurgence in Germany and on the European stage.
Bianca Rech, the Sporting Director of Bayern Munich Frauen, is excited about the potential that this partnership offers the club: “We’re starting to see the data revolution hit the women’s game and joining up with Analytics FC will give us another edge in our bid to succeed both domestically and in European competition,” she said. “When we are facing teams like VfL Wolfsburg in the Frauen-Bundesliga, and Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona, and Real Madrid in the Champions League, we need to make sure we are making gains at every level. Analytics FC will help us do this.”
CEO and Co-founder of Analytics FC, Jeremy Steele, echoed these sentiments: “It’s great to see more and more clubs in women’s football moving into the data space. We feel we’ve been ahead of the curve with our own expansion of TransferLab into the women’s game, as well as our work with some of the highest-profile players in women’s football. We’re looking forward to helping Bayern Munich achieve success.”
