Grimsby Town Sign Up to TransferLab

Analytics FC are excited to announce that Grimsby Town have signed up to TransferLab, our online football data scouting tool.

TransferLab is a cutting–edge software solution developed in a unique collaboration between Analytics FC and financial and business analysts LCP helping football clubs improve and simplify their recruitment decisions.

Despite suffering relegation from the Football League last season, Grimsby Town are at an important juncture in their history. 2021 saw the club being bought out by local businessmen Jason Stockwood and Andrew Pettit under their company 1878 Partners. With former promotion-winning manager Paul Hurst back at the helm, Grimsby hope to make a speedy return to the Football League and TransferLab is at the forefront of their plans.

Hurst commented: “As a manager, I like to make sure I have as much information available to me to inform my decision-making. TransferLab adds another layer on top of what we already have and will help us to get an edge over the other clubs in our division.”

“It’s great to get Grimsby on board and using TransferLab,” said Jeremy Steele, Analytics FC’s founder and Managing Director. “Grimsby are a forward thinking club with a great history who are looking to bounce back to where they belong as soon as possible. Analytics can make a big impact in this regard, perhaps even more so at a level where it’s less common, so we look forward to helping them achieve their goals.”

With the addition of Grimsby Town to the stable, Analytics FC continue to extend their customer base within English football which included 25% of Premier League sides last season.
