MARKET EVALUATION
We focus upon the coaching talent pool and potential selection opportunities. We can filter for league strength, sporting ambition, financial power, performance vs budget and “club fit” across a range of variables.
PERFORMANCE IMPACT
We use proprietary data models to provide assessments of value vs contribution, assessing underlying performance data which is less influenced by luck and provides more predictive value. We also use statistical modelling to estimate the impact a head coach has upon a club of achieving a given sporting goal and reflect the monetary aspect of that impact, whether it be league position or prize money, difference in player valuation, or money lost on injuries.
STYLE PROFILE
We work with clients to identify their ideal game model. From this starting point, our playing style and coach tendency models help to identify coaches who fit the criteria, and where candidates might not be a perfect fit, what the likely consequences will be across variables such as squad investment and squad churn.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
Using our performance models, we evaluate the total contribution of players per match based on the positive or negative impact of every individual action. This gives a clear framework for comparing players and their net contribution – both offensively and defensively. Using this model, we can assess how a head coach impacted upon team, position-specific and individual player performance levels on average across his club tenures.
SQUAD MANAGEMENT
We assess the way coaches have historically managed their playing squads during their careers, reviewing and analysing criteria such as rotation principles, historical rate of injuries, age profiles and effective use of squad assets.
