THE CHALLENGE
A Premier League player was seeking compensation for loss-of-earnings from his club during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The challenge was to provide accurate and authoritative data to the court in an independent way to calculate the compensation levels.
OUR APPROACH
We used our proprietary player performance algorithm and transfer valuation, as well as gathering intelligence from historical data on football player pay from the pre-COVID era to the present day.
We also used our best-in-class salary data and models, as well as expert witness reports, to create transparent and varied set of evidence. Our team worked closely with legal representatives to present the data in a clear and concise manner.

Ultimately our approach helped the court come to a conclusion where Premier League player successfully settled his loss-of-earnings claim against the club.
