Last week, Analytics FC CEO, Jeremy Steele, was interviewed by the Yorkshire Evening Post to talk about Leeds United subscribing to the TransferLab API Connect service.
Speaking to Graham Smyth, the Evening Post’s Chief Football Writer, Steele said:
“It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with. It means that in-house they can do very in-depth, very specific to Leeds stuff. It makes it even more bespoke for them, which is important I guess when you’ve got a head coach like Marcelo Bielsa who is pretty bespoke.”
In addition, he talked about working with Victor Orta and the impact that data analytics can have in finding the marginal gains that allow clubs to succeed in the transfer market.
